Everything you might want to check before you buy.

No small print, no surprises. If anything here is unclear, write to me and ask — a real person reads that mailbox.

When your letter arrives

A letter is posted once a month, to reach you before the end of that month.

• Order by the 15th and this month’s letter is yours.
• Order after the 15th and you begin with next month’s letter. No letter goes missing either way.
• December is the exception. Order through the 20th and the December letter still goes out, though the Christmas post may not land it before the day itself.

Letters are posted within the United States for now. I hope to open this up further before long.

Cancelling

The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time, and takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for — so you always receive what you paid for.

To cancel, write to hello@ohsusannahstudios.com and say the word. There is no form to fill in and nobody will try to talk you out of it.

The six- and twelve-month bundles are paid once, up front. They can be refunded — see below.

Refunds

If a letter has not yet been posted, you can have your money back for it. Write to me within 14 days of the payment and I will refund it in full.

Once a letter is in the post I cannot recall it, so refunds for letters already sent are at my discretion — but I would rather put things right than keep money from someone who is unhappy. Ask me.

The six- and twelve-month bundles. Read the first letter before you decide. If it is not for you, write to me within 14 days of it arriving and I will refund the rest — keeping only $18.99 for the letter you have received, the ordinary single-letter price.

After that first letter, write to me anyway. I would rather put something right than keep money from someone who is unhappy.

If your envelope arrives damaged or not at all

Post goes astray. It is nobody’s fault and it is fixable.

• Damaged in the post: tell me and I will send a replacement.
• Never arrived: allow two weeks past the end of the month, then tell me and I will send another.

Your address and your details

To send you a letter I need somewhere to send it. Here is exactly what happens to what you give me.

• Your name and postal address are used to address your envelope. Nothing else.
• Your email address is used for your receipt and for anything I need to tell you about your own subscription.
• Your card details never reach me. Payments are handled by Stripe; I never see your card number.
• No information is sold, rented or shared. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.

Ask me to delete your details at any time and I will, once any letters you have paid for have been sent.

Who you are buying from

Zuzu’s Letters is a small venture of Oh Susannah Studios, run by Susannah — Zuzu — who writes the letters, takes the photographs and stuffs the envelopes herself.
